Adobe
modern, industrial, reclaimed
These were the defining terms for the expansion and renovation of the existing Adobe Boston location in Newton, MA.
The large, recognizable “A” of Adobe greets visitors as they enter the door. Once inside the space, the polished concrete floors move guests through the public areas. Private areas, such as workstations, offices, and conference rooms, are all carpeted to delineate these spaces from the public. The training room, clad in vertical hung perforated span-rib panels, serves as the primary object in the space by connecting with the rest of the public area through two large garage doors.

Reclaimed shipping pallets wrap the public area creating soffits, benches, shelves, and light fixtures. These elements provided a sustainable way to create something dynamic that plays throughout the space and highlights Adobe’s cutting edge ideas.
