Wistia
Wistia, an internet video hosting and analytics company, needed to accommodate rapid growth as it expected to more than double its size in the next five years. The design also sought to reflect the company’s brand and culture. A commanding and entire mill building on Tudor Street in Cambridge provides them with more than enough room to meet their growth.
The impeccably restored shell, with exposed timber beams, presented a pristine backdrop to a minimalistic and industrial design aesthetic. With the exception of a few meeting rooms on the first floor, the majority of the space was left as an open plan, allowing the client flexibility for future expansion.
Fostering their team-culture lifestyle, and flanking either end of the building, Studio Troika installed a custom-designed kitchen and impressive steel spiral stair, which were both requisites in the early stages of design and key focal points in the finished space.
