Kaleido
Kaleido Biosciences, a research and development biotechnology firm which performs scientific studies specializing and focusing on the health of the human microbiome, collaborated closely with Studio Troika to relocate their current process engineering facility from a small, outdated space in Bedford to a 40K sf, fully-renovated facility in Lexington.
DESIGNING FOR GROWTH
Project services include master planning, space planning, and programming for laboratory and office growth. The specialized drying, synthesis, and purification rooms were designed closely with their facilities and science leads. The equipment in the process development and analytical labs demanded close precision and coordination with engineering. The clean room work flow required special attention to paths and security. New Executive offices, a board room, meeting spaces, and kitchenettes with high end finishes were designed to serve the scientists now and for the future, as they continue to grow.
